But I don't understand why he's doing what he seems to be doing. Is his agenda the total dominance of the Republican Party regardless of who's the president? He seems to be risking his reputation (which is what happens when you work for Trump), but for the GOP?

Barr was chosen by establishment GOP to save the GOP. In order to save the GOP, they must save the country and bring Trump down. Barr could be blowing smoke up Trump's ass in public while Mueller continues under the radar. One can hope? I just can't understand why someone would write such an obvious "PICK ME"letter to Trump to get confirmed as AG after already having served in the role and not really needing to destroy his reputation to cover for TRUMP. I'm intrigued by the fact that both Rosenstein and Mueller are still employed by the DOJ. The hope inside of me favors this scenario. After all, Trump has recently attacked both McCain and Barbara Bush. Perhaps the establishment GOP - who had the reigns of the party hijacked by Trump - are working in concert with with FBI and the Intelligence agencies to get rid of this traitor while not tearing up the country in the process.

I've considered it; remains to be seen if I'm just a dreamer.

If we survive the next 6 years of the orange maggot history will not be kind to Barr.

I say 6 years because of the Russian hacking and voter suppression that the repukes will amp-up even more. Just look at Tennessee today thinking about giving civil penalties for registering people to vote.

Poppy, on his death bed, pulls Barr is close and whispers in his ear: "Take him down, Bill."

Sadly, more likely, the man is just a damned Wormtongue.
