Texas lawmakers considered a bill that would make abortion punishable by death

Earlier this week, Texas state legislators began considering a bill that would allow a woman who has an abortion, or a medical professional who performs one, to be charged with homicide – a crime that carries the death penalty in Texas.
--------------------------
The Texan bill also demonstrates the creeping influence of inflammatory anti-abortion rhetoric, a sort of natural conclusion to the arch-conservatives’ insistence that abortion is no different from murder – as though the one in four American women who has an abortion would equally kill a child, as though a cluster of cells, an embryo that cannot survive independently of a woman’s body, is the same as a fully-formed human, as though “pro-life” were an accurate label rather than an insistence that some lives – the lives of the preternaturally innocent and apolitical unborn – are more valuable than others.

As I have argued before, it’s no coincidence that the states with the most restrictive abortion policies also have the worst records for women and children’s health. The tools used by the so-called “pro-life” movement to restrict women’s ability to access abortions – such as the defunding of Planned Parenthood and other family planning clinics – directly contribute to America’s shocking rates of maternal and infant mortality.

He does not care about fetuses, he hates women. Probably because they can't stand him. He's a supposed "libertarian republican" whatever the fuck that means, but for some reason thinks the state should have a say when it comes to women's bodies. He is such a loathsome creep. Can we look into 180th trimester abortions please?

are responsible for those pregnancies?

Actually, most men who are anti choice apparently think that women who get pregnant and seek abortions somehow get pregnant without any male involved. Lots of immaculate conceptions, apparently.

Oh, dear lord, how I wish men could get pregnant.

Seriously. No matter how careful you are there is still a chance of pregnancy. The consequences are too horrible to imagine.

Sex only if a child is wanted. Otherwise separate houses.
