Fox News is having a sustained orgasim over Barr's announcement of "spying".

I'm at my brother's where everyone is glued to the TV watching that gasbag, Hannity raving like a crazy, prophetic soothsayer. Ugh! This is the culmination of the GOPs long, wet dream fantasy. Every Republican congress critter is queued up for their on-air interview to damn the FBI and condemn the vast Democratic conspiracy that tried to take down St. Trump the Terrible.

They are positively giddy with the prospects of 'finally getting Hillary", presumably imagining her being forced to reenact the Game of Thrones episode where Queen Cersei is shorn and stripped, and made to walk naked through the streets... or down the steps of the Capitol Rotunda. Its bizarre, their hate is off the charts! It must be misogyny, or petty revenge, what else explains the intensely personal feelings and wild emotions all these adult men are expressing? They are like acting like angst ridden teenage boys with a vendetta against the girl who dumped them.

They are all carrying on as if the fix is in now that Trump got Barr in place, and he will make sure Trump gets what he wants. They are all fixated on "the Russian dossier" and FISA, but none of their cherished beliefs match the actual timeline of events. No matter, they expect that Barr will make sure to pound all their favorite puzzle pieces into place so everything fits and they expect to get their pound of flesh.

I tend to suspect that like all the other mad conspiracy theories that Republicans latched onto -- birth certificates, Benghazi, and email servers -- this too will fizzle away like a cheap sparkler in the rain.

...like those - I know a couple, also. The really believe Obama and Hillary should be investigated and put in prison. It's not just political rhetoric. I've heard them say, in response to anything Trump does, "What about Obama - the most corrupt administration in history," and they think he and Hillary colluded with Putin.
