Then it would go to the courts, IMHO.

I'm not an expert, I'll take that at face value unless someone knows otherwise.

He said that it would kill off anything SDNY has against him as well.

by skewed vote counts and russian help again. We need to impeach. There's just so much there. If not him, then are you telling me anything up to and including whatever dons done now, is ok?
The guy has a fuduciary duty to watch out for all of us that he SWORE on a Bible to do. He's in serious breech of duty. That's gross negligence. Add that to the pile of ugly from this National Disgrace.

I think once the evidence starts coming out, even repubs will throw in the towel. JMHO though.

and he was so proud of his theory, as if we would all be thrilled to know Individual 1 was guilty. Not jailed or suffering any consequences but thrilled anyway. The most jackassery thing I've heard in weeks.

"Not jailed or suffering any consequences."

That's what Trump wants. Of course, he wants to have monuments erected in his honor, but he'll take zero jail time as a consolation prize.

the orange menace would* get a preemptive pardon let's say very soon** after he'd lose the election because he would resign (from Pence***). That would be during the transition before Jan. 20 2021 (plenty of time to do that).

No SDNY consequences.

New York State AG would then (if not before) indict the orange loser on so many counts (Tax frauds, Bank frauds, et al) it would be hard to count them all, but his lawyers (he wouldn't pay as usual) would plea mental disorder and get him out of state jails, to leave him tweeting insanity on his golden shitter. His kids, though, like he doesn't give a flyin' f.

* hypothetical **if he's not impeached and removed earlier ***if Pence is not impeached and removed with him (ManafoRt connections).
