(11,477 posts)No matter what. This is my first time out of country and traveling alone so I had thoughts of crazy protests in Dublin and Belfast.

(31,261 posts)BTW. When you return to the US, follow the smallest line to the passport check, that will surely be the line for US citizens.
Also, if you buy large items there that you can't put in your luggage, you may want to read up now on how to ship them back to the USA, they will get held up in Customs and you may get a call from a Customs agent.

(11,477 posts)Many times British Columbia and Alberta and Calexico as a kid thats it.
I had my kids young and no money, divorced in my early 30s no child support and took every penny to raise them. Didnt start traveling until last 20 yrs with new husband but only Hawaii, and Canada and States.
Time to finally move on and he didnt want to leave dog so going alone.
