Trump is saying the investigation of his campaign's activities with Russia was part of a coup to take down the President of the United States. The Attorney General is saying that the Trump campaign was "spied" upon and at least was the victim of "unauthorized surveillance".
This means you, Robert Mueller, were either a useful idiot and allowed your skills and experience to be used in a take down of the President or you were a willful conspirator. YOU. Of course, this is all complete nonsense. That said, I don't have to tell you how serious this nonsense is when charges of treason and espionage are made by a sitting President and Attorney General. This would put you in serious jeopardy criminally and professionally. Given your track record and the record of those who worked for you on this investigation, I would expect that you answer these charges immediately and with fervor. You have no choice but to bring your response with the unredacted report to the House and Senate Intelligence and Judiciary Committees. Otherwise, these false charges will stand and will be taken seriously.

(7,323 posts)I thought it odd that there were never any leaks of the investigation, or that Mueller kept such a tight lip. He watched Trump destroy our country and did absolutely nothing. Now he just walks away.
Freepers have been calling for his public hanging since the investigation started.

(2,002 posts)Bob Mueller or any other investigator on that team can walk right over to Congress and give them a version with any classified or grand jury details redacted. The only recourse would be termination of employment, and Mueller isn't even an employee. There would be no law broken as long as no classified or GJ material is included. It would be a violation of DOJ/FBI rules, but as long as nothing classified was revealed, I can't see any law they would be violating. Fired? Certainly. But that seems like all.
