Trump's worsening mental condition, rallies temporarily ease "an insatiable emotional need"

Trump’s tweets are some of the best, unfiltered information on his mental state. They are reactions to real-life situations in real time, over an extended span of time. Their growing frequency is an alarming sign, with an astonishing 52 tweets over 34 hours recently. Their content has also become more vitriolic.

Trump’s rallies are also very revealing. They are events he insists on doing, often against advice, and the adulation of crowds seems to ease, at least temporarily, an insatiable emotional need. These, too, have been increasingly more vicious in attacks against Hillary Clinton or John McCain, indicating that neither defeat nor death can satisfy the envy for what he may believe he could never have.

Trump’s rhetoric has been growing more violent. Attacking others seems to be a chief mode of coping for him; his accusation of “Democrats” behind Robert Mueller’s team as being "all killers” and his calling on “the police,” “the military,” and “the Bikers for Trump” to get tougher, appear to indicate that the stress of the presidency is getting to him.

And may indeed have functional ADD especially regarding reading, but I think that is more a symptom of his classical narcissism and potential mental decline due to age - dementia or Alzheimers.

I do wonder if he has ADD and was never diagnosed be cause of his age. I was just diagnosed at age 62. When I was a kid in the 60s, it really wasn't diagnosed, especially in females. But it would explain a lot really. Of course, he has the narcissism too.

He is indisputably riddled with mental and emotional deficiencies. His "38 doors" in a "big beautiful wall", where there "actually not any doors" or there are "between 36 and 38 doors" in the "beautiful wall" tirade or blathering meltdown in an interview just this weekend should prove to anyone with the sense god gave a goat that he's full-on whacko.

under any circumstance and haven't read the "36 door" rant, here it is. 63 million Americans actually voted for this sack of shit:

And it’s a wall — not a good-looking wall. It’s a wall. It’s got 36 doors in it. Big doors. Very big doors. And they never put the doors on. So it’s 38 miles with 36 doors that you can drive a truck through. There’s only one problem: They never put the doors on it. So we’re putting the doors on it. Or, even better, maybe not putting any doors. I said, ‘Maybe you do it without the doors.’ Because putting the doors on cost most than the property is worth. I’d rather give the money for the property and just say, “Bye-bye,” or sell it to somebody on the other side.”

Watching the death threat to the Congress Lady form the Twin Cities and how the Legal and Rethugs handle this case. My guess is,Trump will go all in Stupid and the Rethugs sit on their hands. Is this the Straw?

After the damage he and his helpers have done to the office of the presidency, he does not deserve to just go away. He has to PAY for the damage. The presidency is a difficult job for the most intelligent people (democratic presidents all of those) For a glorified tough guy like tRump, it is an impossible job. If he were even HALF as smart and successful as he proclaims to be, the job would be tolerable. I would venture to say he is the most hated person on the planet, so he is the "best" at one thing. Fat boy needs to lay off the fast food, quit tweeting and get REAL. At his age, I doubt any changes are possible. He is too far gone.

Like he must already know New York State's will shower him dozens of indictments the day after he'll resign (instead of getting impeached) the Nixon way (and get a preemptive pardon from Pence) the Ford way, so he's already "faking" early-stage dementia his lawyers will invoke in a bid for keeping him out of State jail for life.

most presidents feel the weight of the entire nation, if not the entire world on their shoulders. it's a tough burden to bear.

but donald fraud has been fortunate to be president at a time where there really haven't been major external challenges.

sure, a president with more foresight would attack tough problems like healthcare, the distribution of wealth, climate change, etc., but these haven't really been seen as the kind of immediate crises that people think of when they think of the "stresses of the presidency".

really, the only major challenge has been how to handle his own scandal generation machine. sex scandals, money scandals, spy scandals, hacking scandals, obstruction scandals, tax scandals, business scandals, etc., he's got it all and it's all due to his own incompetence and criminality.
