News organizations are supposed to report only facts, and not opinion. Who, what, when, where, how, why. No "I think," no "hmmm...could be." That's for the talk shows and opinion pieces. And indeed all of that was discussed on talk shows and in opinion pieces.

sam nunberg told gabriel sherman for ny magazine 4/3/16 that in 2014 the trump team (trump stone (who says he used talk radio in 2000 to stop vote recounts in fla) and cohen) - had him listen "to 1000s of hours of talk radio" and write 'reports'. a russian troll told wash post that in 2014, the same year the indicted russians were visiting key states, they (the trolls at the troll farm) "got a list of topics to write about".

so the russians and trump were probably coordinating their propaganda to piggyback years/decades of talk radio, and many of the social media memes piggybacked months, years, even decades of talk radio repetition (why not?)

and even then democrats and left and media ignore talk radio, and will continue to allow a few hundred blowhards on 1500 radio stations stimulate death threats for AOC and omar, etc while they help media decide who of the dem candidates are acceptable and who aren't,

when it's not a part of the case. If the criminals refer to Trump or make a statement about it, or quote Trump...something along those lines...then that would be reported. It's part of the case.

Reporting is who, what, when, where, why, and sometimes how. It's not "here's why I think they did it." That's not reporting. That's something you hear on political talk shows, where I'm sure it's discussed. Morning Joe, Maddow, Hardball, The Beat. And in opinion pieces on CNN, Daily Beast, Salon, etc.
