Why SNL sucks.

The bands don't really play, its all pre-recorded music with them dancing on stage and miming it. Horrible.

There’s no band. It’s Sara Bareilles and she’s not doing anything prerecorded. And she’s quite good. In fact her performance just now was great. SNL is always uneven but I thought they did Biden no harm and it was pretty good hearted ribbing.

I’m impressed with how generally irritable people can be.

14. You should actually watch the show once

The bands are live and while uneven at times, it is still a live, topical comedy show. If you don't like it aftre watching it, skip it.

but the bands are not always live, I saw the one with Gwen Stefani on from last night that was a rerun and I can absolutely tell you it was not live. The drummer had his sticks down on the snare when there was two cymbal hits and he was doing nothing.
