WaPo Op Ed: "Trump is unraveling before our eyes. He isn't fit for reelection."

Trump is unraveling before our eyes. He isn’t fit for reelection.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2019/04/03/we-should-be-asking-if-trump-is-too-old-stand-re-election/

Far too much media time has been devoted to mulling whether former vice president Joe Biden, as svelte and vigorous as he has ever been and showing no sign of mental deterioration, is too old to run for president and not nearly enough considering whether President Trump is.

In the past 24 hours, Trump — who will be 74 in November 2020 and is “tired,” according to aides — has:

- Falsely declared multiple times that his father was born in Germany. (Fred Trump was born in New York.)
- Declared that wind turbines cause cancer.
- Confused “origins” and “oranges” in asking reporters to look into the “oranges of the Mueller report.”
- Told Republicans to be more “paranoid” about vote-counting.

He is increasingly incoherent. The Post quotes him at a Republican event on Tuesday: “We’re going into the war with some socialist. It looks like the only non, sort of, heavy socialist is being taken care of pretty well by the socialists, they got to him, our former vice president. I was going to call him, I don’t know him well, I was going to say ‘Welcome to the world Joe, you having a good time?'” Even when attempting to defend himself, he emits spurts of disconnected thoughts. “Now you look at that [presidential announcement] speech and you see what’s happening and that speech was so tame compared to what is happening now, that trek up is one of the great treacherous treks anywhere, and Mexico has now, because they don’t want the border closed.”

but I would question my intelligence because there were times I couldn't understand what the hell trump was saying. Good to know he is without a doubt rather stupid and now his brain (what little there is) is deteriorating day by day. Too bad he will never admit it and do the right thing by resigning.

Too busy trying to take advantage and cram in more tax breaks for the 1% and pack the Federal courts for generations with conservative, appointed-for-life, scumbag judges.

Right now, I'm hoping that disaster doesn't overtake the country, but if it does, I want to be sure that Republicans in Congress get the full measure of what's coming to them.

the problem has always been the people around him, the media, and the republicans who see the same damn thing we do and somehow come to vastly different conclusions.

there's absolutely no way they wouldn't have bounced on obama or hillary or any other democrat if they did a fraction of what donald fraud does. any slip of the tongue or grammatical error would be played on endless loops for the rest of the campaign season and beyond.

but with donald fraud, they see tax cuts or anti-abortion or anti-foreigners and figure that excuses anything from grift to dictatorship to criminal activity to cover-ups to mental decline.

donald fraud is who he is. he's always been a known quantity and he isn't going to change, at least not for the better.

if the rest of us were of more sound mind in the aggregate, he always would have been dismissed as a fraud and a clown and never would have gotten near the white house.

To catch on in msm. When Trump says wind turbines cause cancer he was making a joke. When Obama says he visited all 58 states, he was totally serious and doesn’t know how many states he is running to be president of
