Since it's clear Trump and the GOPers intend to paint all Dems with the "Socialism" brush through the 2020 elections, it's helpful to turn to one of the most lucid and accurate explanations of the issue offered by anyone today not running for office.

MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell tells how the U.S. has long been partly socialist, as we --- like most industrial countries --- are a mixed economy utilizing features of both socialism and capitalism. Particularly enlightening is his description of the worst kind of socialism.
