(11,110 posts)Trump hates Obamacare because of the Obama part. The most hardcore of Trump's base hates Obamacare for the same reason.
I hear no plan for a replacement. The only goal is to kill all of the Obama legacy he can.

(11,110 posts)The proof will be if a replacement plan is introduced if the Fifth Circuit and SCOTUS strike down the ACA as Trump has asked.
I think that if Trump really meant for the GOP to be "the party of health care," there would already have been a replacement bill introduced.
Again, I hope you are right.

(23,002 posts)If he can re-brand Ocare...he'll expect alliegiance from everybody. The mans sick. I can see him INDIVIDUALLY withholding healthcare from people. I can see that real easy. Using it as a hammer to nail people with. He's certainly not doing it for us. Its all him.

(9,132 posts)If he wanted to rebrand it, hed think of, or have his staff think of, some tiny improvement so he could claim the entire Affordable Care Act as his own product. That would have been his smart move.

this is just a ploy to change the subject. they are seeing that nobody is buying the barr smokescreen.

(9,132 posts)A lot of Republican voters have an intellectual disconnect between using the policies that afford them some health and dignity and the politicians they like.
It took me some years to draw straight lines and face unpleasant facts. All too many people never do.
