insane, though. I won't say why because we're not allowed to speak freely here without getting zapped. I do take walks and, this time of year, the flowers and trees are beginning to bloom and the air is refreshing.

I'm just worried about the kind of life we're leaving my children/grand-children and that nothing ever gets done about it. Sure, I vehemently advocate voting, but that's 2 years away. Plenty of time to lose even that right, if we're not careful.

31. Yes, DU is hopelessly compromised. I lurked for years and I should have known better than to

sign up. But the mid-terms (which I worked my ass off for) excited the hell out of me and I had to share in the victories.

Stupid move because now I'm ignored and, at worst, targeted. And I have allowed myself to respond with frustration at how little is actually achieved here. Nothing is achieved at all. Any attempts to fire up the base here is ignored or punished.

I now have a deep suspicion but I find it hard to give up hope that there's some sort of fight here. Whatever is going on here, it certainly isn't any "underground".

Heck, I'm 66. I'm moving to Prince Edward Island, Canada in September to spend the rest of my life. I'm not going to be caring a thing about this country any more unless they are going to stop my social security checks or try to invade Canada. Even if the US invades Canada, they might forget about PEI anyway. Isn't anything there but lobster, pubs, and music.

It's just sad to see this country going down like this. It wasn't this way in the 60s and 70s. People think they are protesting by writing snarky messages on twitter. That's not going to get it done. Things involving a grand jury, for instance. And no doubt, there is stuff in there that would compromise national security if made public.

In a few weeks, we'll get most of it. I doubt it will make a difference. Rather than grasping at the straws that there might be some nuggets of information in it that will cause Trump voters to quit him, I prefer to focus on getting people excited about voting for our Democratic nominee.

Pelosi, Schumer and Schiff need to call for a prime time press conference where they spell out what's going on and that the only reason the WH and Barr would be refusing to release the actual report is because it doesn't say what Barr is claiming it says. Without revealing info, state that his vague summary regarding collusion contradicts established court record(note these court records). Take 30 minutes or so to detail how Barr was selected, what his conflict of interest is and how if the report says what Barr claims, there would be no reason to not release Mueller's summary. Finish with the statement that if it is not received within 48 hours, they will have no choice but to subpoena Mueller, Rosenstein and Barr.

Since the GOP seems free to talk about what's in the report, I see no reason for the Dems not to do the same. For starters, claim there is evidence of Trump crimes in the report. I mean hammer it home. Trump is covering up crimes. This is the GOP play book. Without the report, you can basically say anything you want. SO SAY THE WORST THINGS YOU CAN THINK OF. The only way to shut you up is to release it. After they release it, the news is the report and not all the * you said. ;0
