Trump Proposes Cutting Postal Employees' Pay, Benefits in $100B Savings Package..

President Trump has once again proposed a slew of changes to the operations of the U.S. Postal Service and its employees’ benefits, with the White House estimating the plan would save $98 billion over the next decade.

In addition to a renewed push for offering postal employees lower pay and benefits, Trump pushed changes proposed by the task force he created last year. Those include raising prices for mail and packages not deemed “essential,” reducing delivery frequency, outsourcing some mail processing and licensing access to individuals’ mailboxes.

Additional savings would result from governmentwide efforts to require federal employees to contribute more toward their pensions and health insurance benefits. Trump also suggested making specific changes to USPS employee compensation to align it more closely align with the rest of the federal workforce. His task force previously proposed eliminating pay and benefit issues from collective bargaining negotiations, as is the case for all non-postal unions representing federal employees.

If you are a Postal worker for the USPS, there is a proposal to slash $100 Billion over 10 years, privatize some of your work, reduce your pay and benefits, and go after your Union. Are you going to stand for that? I suggest contacting your Senator AND Representative in the House and demand they fight this.

two thirds of one year of the 10 years of deficit spending required for the Republican billionaires' harvest. Then their shills will only need to steal enough money for the other nine and one third years of deficit spending they still need to offset with other smaller legislative theft bills, or make another run at trying to steal it all at once by cutting 25% from Medicaid to cover it (their original plan to steal the harvest money that failed in the Senate).

For his ardent support of Trump. When you tell him this that Trump wants to slash his benefits, ask him if he is okay with that?

My only sibling. His support of Fox News, trump, anti-universal healthcare, and anti-union views disgust me. Both our parents were teachers and because of unions were able to retire quite comfortably.
I think he admires trump from the "I'd bang that porn star" mentality.
Not sure how we came from the same parents, although it's quite obvious who my father was....him? Not so much!
I just ignore his drunk calls at 11:00pm, can't argue or even state a case with a drunk trump supporter...

Somehow with this slimy administration, I doubt it. "Non essential" mail will likely be deemed to be pension checks and anything mailed out by the DNC, DCCC, Move-On, or other organizations that support Democrats.
