Every time I see a Democratic pol lead with 'I want to work for bi-partisan solutions'
I shudder.
Call me an ignorant Millennial/Gen Z'er (born end of 1995, so your call as to what gen I am), but after the semi-tear-up of Dodd-Frank, I am a cynic.
Bettie
(16,126 posts)I used to believe that there could be bipartisanship. There used to be compromise, where both sides got something and it wasn't full on evil.
Now, "compromise" means "all of what the right wants and take away things that we already have".
I'm cynical too.
