(10,130 posts)From what I've seen, the media is starting to catch on to what Barr did.
I think this was a Hail Mary. Upon further review, the play may well be ruled out of bounds.
The evidence we knew was strong and not refuted.
The Rubik's cube problem of trying to reconcile Barr's letter with everything we know is not lining up.
Stunts like the above are just going to piss people off and stiffen their resolve.
This is looking more like a poorly played shell game that is not going to fool as many folks as they hoped.

President Donald Trumps campaign on Monday urged major news networks to not allow on their shows several people, including Democratic lawmakers, who have been critical of the president, adding that the networks should report the conclusions of special counsel Robert Muellers report as a complete vindication of Trump.
The issuance of these definitive findings comes after two years of Democrat leaders and others lying to the American people by vigorously and repeatedly claiming there was evidence of collusion, Tim Murtaugh, director of communications for Trumps campaign, wrote in the letter to the networks.

Freedom of the press may be guaranteed in the Constitution. But a plurality of Republicans want to give President Trump the authority to close down certain news outlets, according to a new public opinion survey conducted by Ipsos and provided exclusively to The Daily Beast.
So that 43% of republicans would approve a democrat shutting down Fox news?
