I wasn't counting on the Mueller Report. And I agree with Dems NOT focusing on it or on impeachment.

I think they SHOULD demand release of the FULL report to the public. And I think they should hold public hearings. And let the public decide.

BUT - they should - as their NUMBER ONE PRIORITY above that, continue working on legislation and campaigning for 2020 on health care, the economy, climate change, income inequality, taxes, voting rights, etc.

THOSE were winning issues (esp health care) in 2018 and they will be in 2020.

I AGREE with Pelosi NOT putting impeachment on any table. Let's focus on ISSUES not Impeachment --- and vote that criminal cretin OUT in 2020.

Long story short, it’s the Republicans who are going to have a hard time handwaving all this away.

Agree with you Dems need to fight to get it all out. Focus on legislation that lifts people up. There are some things Dems will need to say about the report though when it is out. But we can do that and champion our policies, transparency, and ethics at the same time I think.

Impeachment never made sense unless you can get 20 GOP senators to vote to remove

Barring something completely unprecedented coming out in the investigations, the only realistic way to get rid of Trump is to vote him out in 2020. We need to vote out his enablers, as well.

Continue the investigations, let the SDNY and other jurisdictions do their jobs, and focus on 2020.
