If you've watched any prior investigation (on either side) there are tons of roadblocks. Could easily end up in court fighting over which of these co-equal branches wins on each issue. And the courts rarely work at full speed.

The DC circuit is still pretty clean and would weigh in prior to SCOTUS.
Not sure it will get that far. Expect some deals to be cut... but take some time
