But that was part of his style. No public statements, no leaks from his team, etc.
His obligation to do his job ended with the filing of the report. I would imagine that he would have made some sort of noise if Barr's summary was at serious odds with the gist of the report.

He's not one to rock the boat once he's done his work and the product has been given to his "supervisor". Even if he does testify, he won't contradict anything Barr did, wrote or said. I had a boss like that who, once a decision was made, never, ever bucked it no matter how wrong-headed it was. A great boss, but drove me nuts with that attitude.
