I can tell since my house, which normally isn't under a regular flight path, suddenly sees jets passing over it on a regular basis the weekends he is here.
Now, I don't really mind the air traffic--it's not that loud or obtrusive.
However, it does stand as a palpable reminder of the evil that is my presence, so as a matter of pure symbolism, it's a rather big bummer for me.
It reminds of something years down the road I'll end up telling my grandkids about the Trump Times.....how I distinctly remember the jets flying over my house and knowing he was here.

(3,769 posts)Jumped on the Peachtree Dunwoody inner loop exit at rush hour and theres no cars on the inner loop. None. I cruised all the way to spaghetti junction before I hit any traffic. Turns out I got on the freeway at just the right moment. Got home to Tucker in record time. Heard Pence said some shitty things about Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms while he was here.

Here's where you can find out where Spanky or Mike Dense is and where they're going - look at the ones designated VIP. https://tfr.faa.gov/tfr2/list.html

(24,380 posts)Trump International is (as I am sure the OP knows) just south of the WPB airport, and right across the street from the southern border of the property is the West Palm Beach Postal P&DC. (Processing and Distribution Center)
So far I have been fortunate NOT to have had an arrival when he is playing golf there, but I have seen AF1 at the airport, as I can see the FBO they have been using when I head to the P&DC.
I asked the dock supervisor if it is a problem on the road out front when he is playing.
"Yup, and it's a pain in the ass. They shut the road down and it is a major headache for the inbound and outbound mail trucks".
People seem to forget that when the weather allowed, Obama played at Joint Base Andrews, which is a short helicopter ride away from the White House and required 1/100th the logistics required for Trumpy to go to ANY of his courses, including the one on the Potomac near DC.

(43,219 posts)My kids were with me in the car.
It was the closest I ever had seen the actual operating AF1 in person and yet because of who it was associated with, I couldnt even get excited.
I didnt even bother to tell my kids to look out the window.
Maybe I should have just for the historical aspect but the notion that this man has been allowed access to that plane repulses me beyond belief.
