Damn asshole went public on this insane idea and now it is planted in the minds of knuckle draggers.
The comments by Lubbock County Judge Tom Head, who oversees emergency planning efforts, were broadcast by CNN affiliate KJTV. He made similar remarks on radio station FOX Talk 950.
Saying that as the countys emergency management coordinator he has to think about the very worst thing that can happen and prepare for that and hope and pray for the best, Head told radio host Jeff Klotzman that he believes
in this political climate and financial climate, what is the very worst thing that could happen right now? Obama gets back in the White House. No. God forbid.
Referring to unexplained executive orders and other documents that Obama and his minions have filed, Head said, regardless of whether the Republicans take over the Senate, which I hope they do, he is going to make the United States Congress and hes going to make the Constitution irrelevant. Hes got his czars in place that dont answer to anybody.
Head vowed to personally stand in front of their personnel carriers and say, Youre not coming in here. And Ive asked the sheriff. I said, Are you going to back me on this? And he said, Yeah, Im going to back you. Well, I dont want a bunch of rookies back there who have no training and little equipment. I want seasoned veteran people who are trained that have got equipment. And even then, you know

(6,785 posts)same area as these kind of people aren't particularly frightened of them. Conservatives, for all their gun nuttery are for the most part terrible shots and they're such symbol worshipers the first thing they'd do is make sure everyone could spot them from a mile away. I doubt it would last long enough for the military to have to be sent in.
Most of the ones I know that would be thrilled by the idea of a civil war also can't make it fifteen minutes without air conditioning.
It would be the shortest war ever, and we'd get some awesome quotes from it. "Don't shoot until you hear the sound of their heavy breathing!" or "We won by walking fifty yards into the woods. Once their Hoverounds couldn't follow us, they were helpless." "After we destroyed their strategic Mountain Dew reserves, the fight went out of them."
They'll never admit it, but they know it too. That's why every few years they posture about armed revolution for a few months and nothing ever happens. Having their revolution defeated by a moderate incline would be kind of humiliating.
All jokes aside, the first time someone shot back at them they'd decide revolution wasn't that important after all.
