He almost single-handedly gave us politics as war. That's how the gop fights now. They hate dems irrationally for almost 3 decades now bc of that imbecile. I firmly believe it's why they think rampant cheating is ok bc we ARE the enemy to them. Just as sure as if we were in trenches facing each other in France. If we don't get with the program and start fighting like they do, we will lose. When we regain power, we can re-set the civility standards. Until then, the gloves should be off. That's my opinion.
