Brian Ellis, a Republican Pennsylvania representative who was accused of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman, resigned on Monday.
"It is with immense gratitude to the sacrifices made by my family, the support of my constituents, and the friendship of my colleagues that I have concluded that it is in the best interests of my family, the residents of the 11th House district, and my own health that I resign from the General Assembly," Ellis wrote in a letter to House Speaker Mike Turzai on Monday, according to a local affiliate of CBS News.

They see Trump getting away with crime on a daily basis and that intoxication from power makes them think they will get away with it too.

I didn't see any mention of a rape kit when she went to Holy Spirit hospital, in the description given in the formal complaint. A prosecutor needs to bring criminal charges against Ellis and start gathering some evidence.
