Big game hunters are sickening even worse it was "canned"
Hunting

Pero Jelinic, whose friends say had "hunted everything that could be hunted in Europe," had already killed one lion and was sighting in a second Saturday at a remote lodge near Setiagole, according to Total Croatia News.

The lions were captive-bred. They had been farm-raised to be hunted in a legal yet controversial sport often called "canned hunting."

Every year I join my family for deer hunting at our family camp. I normally kill 1-3 deer yearly in an area where they are almost over abundant. Totally free and wild. My family and I eat the entire animal including the offal and appreciate the clean, healthy, and compared to farm raised animals, humanly killed meat. I don’t photograph my kills. Would never post them online.

I pass on any shot that I do not think will result in an immediate kill. I use a bolt action rifle that only holds 4 bullets. In the last 4 years I have killed 8 deer and fired my gun 8 times.

I am a hunter.

Never happy about a human death. But not too sad about this guy either. He was no hunter.

Says a lot about his skills and judgement that he managed to make pathetic canned hunting risky. So yeah, feel bad for his loved ones, but he put himself in the situation that got him killed. Unless, of course, it was a homicide. Then it should be investigated even if he was doing something shitty.
