GOP senators defend the late McCain against Trump's attacks

From the "headline doesn't match the story" file. I clicked on the headline to see just who was defending John McCain against Trump attacks. What do I find? A handful of Republican Senators have made some anodyne comments about their former colleague, but not one of them has made a statement against Trump. Romney comes closest, I suppose, when he says he doesn't understand why Trump is metaphorically pissing on McCain's grave. But none of them dare say a word in opposition to Trump.

Link to the MSN story.

Spoke out and said he was going to give Trump a whipping on the Senate floor.

In the National Guard he said he was not near the man John McCain and his friend who died in the Vienam. The Senate is not in session.
