Trump just dumped on McCain again at the Ohio rally to dead silence.
Got some boos against McCain when he mentioned the dossier.
But the line fell totally flat.

Look at fucking Gym Jordon...and then just imagine what it's fucking like at the local level.
I'm a Buckeye, born and bread, but thank God the Navy moved me the fuck out of there 30+ years ago to my Beautiful Virginia.
It makes me sick when I see what a "shithole" Ohio has become.

(2,221 posts)I absolutely agree with you. Ohio pretty much sucks, Im sad to say it because I live here and Im most likely stuck here. I really dont like what this state has become. You are most fortunate to have gotten out.

(1,588 posts)They have cut taxes on what business is left there so much and raised it on the poor working class. The state has pushed all the revenue to the cities that they all have to have a city income tax to survive. The industry what's left is so crappy they don't pay anything. The people vote down all the school levies for education because they can't afford it. Property values are probably the lowest in the nation. The roads are going to hell. Except for the football team, Ohio sucks. So glad I left after high school.

(7,814 posts)GOP senators to the point where they'd give in and vote to over-ride his emergency declaration veto? Can he not help himself? Is it more important to him to insult a dead man than achieve something he claims is important? Does he even KNOW what is important?
Or are GOP senators so far gone Trump knows he has the party in his pocket?
When will we learn what inexplicable hold Trump has on the party? When will we stop saying the phrase, as heard on MSNBC this morning, 'For some reason...' with respect to why the gop is so loyal to a small, mean, limited, sick leader?

(28 posts)Lindsay Graham, who so tearfully bemoaned the loss of his close friend and colleague, says nothing about Trump's obsessive attacks against McCain. And Graham is not alone in the Republican's shameful acceptance of Trump's daily vitriol.

(56,828 posts)even though he noted that he missed his dear friend John McCain in a tweet - not a bit about Trump's attacks on McCain. Mitch got really ratioed on this one (ratioed is when your replies outnumber your likes/retweets, so the ratio is bad)

Today and every day I miss my good friend John McCain. It was a blessing to serve alongside a rare patriot and genuine American hero in the Senate. His memory continues to remind me every day that our nation is sustained by the sacrifices of heroes.

I'm not a fan of McCain -- especially his Bengazi screams and chants -- but he was infinitely better than the orange clown.
