Robert Kennedy Jr.: The Trump White House Has Shut Me Out on Vaccines

Daily Beast

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said on Tuesday that the Trump administration had turned its back on vaccine skeptics, including himself, after initially expressing interest in creating a group to look into their safety.

“He told me that he wanted to create a vaccine safety commission and that he wanted me to chair it,” Kennedy said in response to a question at the Connecticut Vaccine Science Forum. “He asked me to announce it at a press conference, to the press at Trump tower and almost immediately I started feeling a lot of blowback within the administration.”

I wish Kennedy would stop with crap like that. It's embarrassing.

Everybody who can take a vaccine should take it.

I love the guy in Italy who was anti-vaccine, and is hospitalized now with chicken pox.

My parents and doctor were reluctant to have me exposed to it as a child, because I had other serious health conditions where it might have killed me.

A vaccine didn't exist at the time. But if it had, it would have been a godsend.

Fuck the anti-vaxxers to hell. I laugh at that idiot in Italy. I hope his next few weeks are fun and interesting for him.

Just had turned 34 and in last semester of finishing a MBA at Cal's Haas.

Was feeling bad and had a small blister on upper middle arm.

Was dating a woman who was Ex Dir of a Berkeley Day Care and she figured out what it probably was and may have been an indirect vector as a chicken pox outbreak was occurring in the kids.

Got way sick as had chicken pox blisters literally everywhere; on eyeballs, scalp, soles of feet, mouth, and down throat into my lungs. Phoned Cowell Hospital and said how sick and old I was and that my breathing was bad and they put me in hospital on IV and meds. Said GF, a housemate, and a female friend from school got me out of hospital after two days by saying they would make sure I always had someone with me. After several days was still very sick, the worst had passed, but was extremely uncomfortable with itchy scabs and weakness. The only scar turned out to be that first blister, still prominent 32 years later. Missed two weeks of classes. Went to see Raising Arizona at Grand Lake Theatre and Fenton's Ice Cream in Oakland for a first trip out accompanied by some of the home "nurses", pretty much still in daze. Never recovered the same youthful vigor from prior to catching chicken pox.

I didn't have them running down my trachea (that I know of). But they were, like you said, everywhere else on my body, inside and out. It was awful and terrifying.

It was an experience that I honestly wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. UNLESS that enemy is an anti-vaxxer. Then, I not only hope that you get it, but I hope you suffer even 50% of what I suffered when I had it, if there's any chance that you're not too stupid to admit your mistake and change your ways.

I am getting the cold shoulder on the chemtrail issue. The administration told me they would look into, appoint me to head up a committee and that we would all be supplied tin foil hats.

Just in case...
