We all support healthcare for all as a right. But Medicare is not a way to get there. It is unfundable and telling the 50% of Americans who get their healthcare from their employer we have something better! is a nonstarter.

And why should kids of rich folks or even upper middle class folks like me, the most likely to get accepted to good public Universities get a free ride? Democrats have traditionally supported means based support. And I still do.

Our present health care is by far the most costly in the world and our life expectancy has gone down the past 2 years, some deal ehh?

my feelings exactly. We won overwhelmingly in 2018, a blue tsunami, running on those "centrist" positions.

Why in heaven's name should we change?

Medicare for All can be tweaked to public option. Medicare certainly isn't free nor does it cover everything 100%.

are for Medicare for all...insure those that need it. Medicare for all will not happen but we can get to decent universal coverage adding a public option and lower the Medicare age to the mid fifties.
