"There's a sucker born every minute"...
Bullshitters and grifters have been with us forever.
They brag about all their dastardly deeds.
They cut people's life-saving insurance and tell them how wonderful it is that they saved the "free market" and the insurance companies. Many cheered as people died.
They hand out huge trillion dollar taxcuts to their wealthiest friends, and then, they get on TV and brag about what a great accomplishment it was, and how they will cut social programs for the poor and elderly to pay for it. Isn't that great!
They divide our country for political advantage and cozy up to dictators around the world, even as they bad-mouth and stab our allies in the back. Then, they tell all the true believers that we were being treated unfairly and that our allies are now paying their "fair share". They boast about how we are once again "respected" around the world.
As if they unlocked the shackles off everything that held us back, they cut regulations on everything they could think of, including our air and water. They freed up the oil companies to drill in our national parks. As they threatened the lives of all of us, they spoke as if they did something great.
The American people have been sold a bill of goods, disguised as great accomplishments, and have nothing left to show for it except bullshit and destruction.
Isn't it great?!
