I'm glad the DNC kicked Fox News to the curb and I hope the shunning expands

I'm tired of hearing people say ... " But I watch Fox News and I'm not a racist"

Well as a matter of fact yes you are a racist,

This is one of this rare issues Which is indeed black and white, there is no gray area or ambiguity here, if you watch Fox News you're a fucking racist, and you're putting money into the pockets of some of the most vile promoters of racism on the planet.

1. Keeping our fine roster of primary candidates from the view of such a large swath of the electorate

is NOT smart, imo.

They may not voluntarily seek them out, so show them the group; NOTHING lost by doing that.

Show no quarter to rightwing liars.

Listen to the latest pod save America for more detailed rationale why Dems shouldn’t enrich Fox by putting a debate there.

How many debates did the Repukes have hosted by MSNBC in the '16 cycle? (Hint: starts with Z, ends with ero)

And before we get complaints of false equivalency with GOP/Dem//FOXNews/MSNBC, let's just stick to full-on, straight-up equivalencies and check the prior DNC historical precedent: Oh, wow, I'm so shocked, look, in prior election cycles the DNC have skipped FOXNews hosting a debate. So this is an interesting talking point for media types why?

This story is a non-story, and anyone who says otherwise is up to their eyebrows in bovine dung.

Those who think that the Dems debating in front of a FOX-News audience are going to make any headway with those viewers are so woefully mistaken.

We're all familiar with "preaching to the choir". In this case, the choir has already been brainwashed to the point where nothing will get through to them. They are not interested in facts, any more than they are interested in what anyone has to say that doesn't conform to what they've already been told to believe.

If there are any FOX viewers who are actually interested in what the Democrats have to say, they can always watch them on other networks. You don't have to wallow in the mud in order to talk to a pig.

6. I think Democratic candidates and politicians shunning FNC is a big mistake.

It makes them look weak and cowardly. Lots of people watch Fox. Some of them could be persuaded to vote for a Democrat if they ever saw one.

the Democrats need to be a bit more daring instead of always playing it safe. After all, Hillary went on Bill O'Rielly's show and survived the experience. I would like to see some other Democrats show as much courage as Hillary. They look weak and that's the worst possible look.

but they should drive that point home, not avoid the issue. Fox is a propaganda mill and we should be saying that, loudly and repeatedly.

Fox viewers can be reached then something is accomplished. Boycotting fox and telling them to go to hell may feel good but it won't help defeat Trump.

But they would tailor the questions to their audience, have hosts who are taught to cut off people who say things they disagree with, and will then have post-debate commentary trashing every single one of the debaters.

Any Democrat who goes to one of those things only gets in with a target painted on their back.
