(32,068 posts)Which also means before 1950. After 1950 nuclear weapons testing artificially altered the proportion of the carbon isotopes in the atmosphere, making radiocarbon dating after that time likely to be unreliable.

(3,650 posts)What I read is that the Aztec nobles, after the Spanish conquest of Mexico, favored pork, because it tasted like the human flesh from prisoners of war sacrificed on the pyramid.
