playing field, but no problem if the wealthy want to bribe their children's way into a good school on top of all the advantages they had to start with. that's the Republican Way.

ppl need to remember affirmative action doesn't mean unqualified. It's just part of the over all equation - you have to still meet the acceptance criteria of the college/university. BTW, it's not often said, but white women have been the biggest benefactor of affirmative action.
