It certainly doesn’t belong on the cover of ANYBODY’S Bible. Looks like desecration to this lifelong Catholic.

Frankly I don’t think ANYBODY should be so presumptuous as to autograph the cover of a Bible. If you absolutely must leave your mark on it, then open it and write a short cordial message on one of the inside front pages - where most thoughtful people do it. Putting your name on the front in those big pitchforky letters in thick black permanent Sharpie ink is - what? A subtle claim of ownership or even feigned authorship?

Hey donald, you already have your damn name all over other stuff - including the front cover of books that you supposedly co-wrote (like “The Art of the Deal” - that was actually written by Tony Schwartz from listening to you blather on at nauseatingly long lengths).

The author’s name goes on the front cover. Or are you sending subtle messaging that YOU had something to do with writing the Bible?
