Way to go, 60 Minutes. Focus on criticism of ACLU instead of status of kids in cages?

Oh yeah, that’s what the country needs. Hand wringing over the fact that the ACLU stepped slightly into a “partisan fray” — running ads supporting Stacy Abrams in Georgia who did a lot to help register voters in the face of massive anti-democracy behavior on the other side, or opposing Kavanaugh for a lifetime appointment.

That’s worth time on 60 minutes. Sure. In the meantime, Leslie, this country has kids in dog kennels taken away from their parents and the Trump administration has given up on reuniting some of them. That’s worth a story EVERY SINGLE WEEK, in my opinion. Did you do a story on how many people get delivered by ICE to their deaths IN Mexico, in some cases leaving orphaned children behind, because the Trump administration hates brown people or poor people or both?

it just isn't anything like the show it used to be. I remember when it used to be what most people talked about on Monday morning.

They did have a nice story afterward about gene therapy appearing to cure some people of sickle cell anemia.
