Sorry AL and MS. I used to live in Miami so I've seen my share of tropical storms and hurricanes.

2) Seems to be moving slower
If this holds, it looks like it will be approaching Tampa on Monday -- enough to be very disruptive, and the main impact would be on Tuesday.
But I guess they would be able to have some convention activities from Tuesday afternoon on. So those Republicans need to get to Tampa early and pick out a good hooker and case of booze to hunker down with.

(8,377 posts)While Isaac isn't necessarily a function of climate change, that certainly would be awkward to rail against climate change in the middle of a hurricane.
