It's like their defense is that they all constantly lie about everything, ergo lying doesn't matter

tRump tells 10,000 lies, Manafort lies, Cohen lies, Stone lies, SHS lies, Flynt lies, they all lie. To the press, to the law, to the American people, to the world. They tell a lie when they'd be better served telling the truth.

It's like their defense is that you can't hold them accountable for lying because they all do it so frequently that it must be normal, and you don't prosecute normal.

Am I right?

The reason he’s so popular is because his base lie just as much as he does. He does everything just like they would do it if they could, thus they lift him to Alpha status. They want to belong to his pack. Truth telling is very low on their priority lists. So low that they’ll lie and swear to you that they know he’s telling them the truth. What they want to hear is what holds value. Fuck facts.
