I doubt the recent raids were timed to concur with an anniversary of the preliminary approval.

More likely, someone went searching for anything connected with Trump, dug up, and started circulating an old article.

The initial trademark deal may have influenced the investigation which led to the bust. I personally think the FBI already knows what Trump is involved with in regard to the Chinese spas here in the US and planned for China.

Calling BS on “someone went searching for anything connected with Trump....”. The links exist, and they are recent. You may feel comfortable in the role of coincidence theorist here, but, others do not.

The article is a 2-year old article, being recirculated in response to the FBI activity. Becasuse people are careless about dates, many people believe the events described in the article justs happened (including you, based on comments you made in this thread before someone pointed out the date of the article to you) .

I said nothing about whether there is a link between the two events. Merely that it wasn't a coincidence in timing of events. The FBI activity prompted searches which turned up the old article, which is now being recirculated as if it just happened.

18. Busts happen after investigations. This type of investigation is done over months and years.

IMO, the FBI knows that Trump is involved in this world of sex trafficking, that the trademark deals raised their awareness. Cohen’s files likely added to it. IMO there is no mere coincidence here. They were ready to move.

I remember the look on Dianne Feinstein's face after the Senate had had their first briefing on trump. (Having lived in CA for a decade, I'm familiar with her expressions.) She walked out of that meeting in front of Chuck Schumer. Here face was tight, her skin as white as I've ever seen it, as if all the blood had drained out of her.

Two days ago, Michael Cohen said that he did not believe that (should trump lose in 2020 and I don't see how he can WIN) there would not be a peaceful transition.

I don't think we've seen the tip of this iceberg and frankly, it scares me.
