1. Trump only wants to be president of Republicans.

His stage act is party specifically defined to inflame the festering boils that irritate his lard assed adoring fans who make up most of Fox's viewers. Trump can't stop trashing Dems long enough to court them, or reach out to independents, or other party voters. And just like before, Trump needs to convince a least a few non-republican voters to jump ship if he wants to be reelected. That's less likely to happen if potential voters never hear him sing their song on another network.

At this rate, Trump is only interested in appealing to his diehard base, who would likely still vote for him if he was 6ft under and pushing up daisies. So I want Trump to stay at Fox Noise, preaching to the faithful, and never do interviews with any other news networks.

2. That's been obvious from the start. He's never once reached out to anyone other than his base.

That will be his downfall IMHO.

Especially now that he's been exposed for the fraudulent asshole that he is.

3. Not even Republicans.

He wants to be president for himself, his image, and his cronies. I really don't think he cares about anything outside of that sphere, including the vast majority of his base. They're just useful idiots.
