If Trump could throw Manafort under the bus—by saying that Manafort colluded with Russia—and face no negative consequences himself for doing so, do you think he'd hesitate a *second*? It's clear he believes he is *directly implicated* in everything Manafort did with the Russians.

He’s already planted simple words and childlike phrases which by themselves trigger his desired reaction. “No collusion” is designed to reinforce “fake news”, “witch hunt”, “winning”, “loser”, and many others which mold the thought processes of his base.

It’s far more effective and can’t be counteracted by our propensity to think and express ourselves in full sentences. We just give the MAGAts a headache.
