How dare you even try to pretend you have not given white supremacists and Neo Nazis even more power in this country? We will always stand with our Jewish, Muslim, and neighbors of all faiths against your type of hate.
Trump:
It is shameful that House Democrats wont take a stronger stand against Anti-Semitism in their conference. Anti-Semitism has fueled atrocities throughout history and its inconceivable they will not act to condemn it!

(1,220 posts)When we had torch carrying nazis marching on American streets chanting, "Jew will not replace us."
I don't remember an apology. Rep. Tlaib apologized. I've never heard a repubican apologize for ANYTHING.
You know how we keep ridding our own party of politicians over any hint of a sexual scandal while the repubicans never resign over anything?
They're doing the same thing to us, or we're doing it to ourselves, with this type of mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa.
Apology accepted. Why are we still talking about his when we have nazis in the White House (stephen miller never apologizes as an example) and on our streets?

(47,613 posts)wrote that Tweet. "Anti-Semitism has fueled atrocities throughout history" doesn't sound like a phrase that would even enter his brain and "inconceivable" is not a word we usually see him use. It would more likely be "disgraceful", he loves that word.

(47,613 posts)Not all Tweets are necessarily from Trump, but they usually try to throw in some misspellings or Trumpisms to look more authentic.

And did you ask her if SHE was trying to fool Democrats?

(12,615 posts)If this was Newt Gingrich or Jeb or anyone else, they would have never made it. But for some reason Trump can BS these people constantly. They used to talk about his business acumen. And i mentioned the NYT story about the dads 400M spent on trump. So of course the response was "fake news". So i pointed out that trumps lawyers never disputed the 400M, only that taxes had been illegally avoided. Their answer? Crickets.

(47,613 posts)I'll never really understand the appeal. I've seen some Evangelical preachers who conned large groups of people, but they had charisma, speaking skills, and a reasonable vocabulary. Before Trump entered politics, all I saw was a clownish buffoon who somehow managed to get his ugly mug on television now and then. He really would have been the last person I would have imagined to win over 60+ million people.
Who Trump is has always been so obvious, yet some people only see what they want to see. Though I think bit by bit, some of the base is quietly pulling away, especially when Trump's administration is actually affecting them personally, i.e. tax refunds, healthcare, job loss, etc.

In their conference? Trump doesn't talk like that.
