(75,480 posts)I will be watching left wing TVees coverage of it especially Jon Stewart. It should be a hoot and I'm ready for a good laugh. I wonder if they dare to get Amy Goodman arrested again this year for doing her job.

(27,454 posts)That's what I'll watch. It's really not the same as watching the real think. Which is a good thing.

(11,619 posts)Attack of the Killer Tomatoes on a continuous loop while lemon juice is dropped in my eyes every minute. A much less painful and more intellectual experience, I assure you.

(16,254 posts)I've been looking forward to this convention. It may be short if Romney is going to be nominated on Monday. Have you ever seen such a messed up circus performance? And, it hasn't even started yet.

(40,416 posts)I have no cable (none here even if I could afford it), no broadband (same, none here). I cannot stream audio on my low bandwidth, forget video streaming. Not even close. But I do get DU.
I have CBS, ABC, PBS x 2, local FOX affiliates x 2, all by antenna. Note: no NBC here.
So who is going to cover it? And which of my resources will cover it? I am thinking DU is my best bet.

(2,787 posts)Id rather watch paint dry I probably will try to avoid watching all news until that crap is over. However what those morons say on stage will probably get back to me anyway. Going to be a long week.

(9,314 posts)Tank their numbers, and let the networks know, the more you show, the less we watch. And that would impact their advertising dollars. They would get that message.
Other than that, I have taken enough torture listening to Romney and others, so I intend to do some reading.

(10,893 posts)But at least that's better than having a b-day on election day itself, where you'd be too nervous to enjoy it out of fear of the bad guys winning.
