If the lawyers in changing his testimony actually changed the facts, thats quite serious for the lawyers. Its unlikely given the caliber of these lawyers, but that is a question I would want to know with respect to that.

(15,751 posts)It is one thing for a lawyer to suspect the client is not telling the truth; more involvement than that gets more complicated. Lawyers defensible 'zeal' for the client v. 'officer of the court'.
. . . and if trump is involved . . . well . . . alleged 'caliber of the lawyers' . . . hmmm . . .

Prosecutors would have to show that the attorneys knew that the content was false for them to be implicated in suborning perjury. As for Trump, they would have to show that he was personally aware of what his attorneys were doing and directed them to do so.
