I tried something with a friend of mine a few years ago, this was during the other idiot republican president, GW Bush.

She got into this conversation about how good GW was...blah, blah. I let her speak, when she was done praising the idiot and his party I said to her "I do admire you, as a matter of fact, I admire every republican women", and of course she asked with a smile, "and why is that?", so I said "because republican women know and understand their place in society, they know they should never try to make the same amount of money as we men do, no matter if they do the same exact job, republican women understand they belong in the kitchen and the home raising kids, they understand that men are better equipped to decide what women should do with their bodies, they understand that women must serve their men and be quiet even if men do things that other non-republican women may repudiate, such as having a mistress, and things like that...republican women definitely know their place, I like that." She got up, smile gone and we never talked politics again...we are still friends though, and I know she has changed on her core views and fanatism towards the republicans. Not sure if she will ever vote Democrat, but I am happy if she doesn't vote at all.

Rep. Higgins (R-La) was very concerned about the boxes of records Cohen referred to in his testimony. Even after Cohen told him he had them in storage after turning them over to the special counsel, Higgins still wanted to know where those darned boxes were.

Reporters then need to ask him would he go before Congress or Mueller under oath too? He attacks others for helping law enforcement , but then wants to claim its a hoax and fake news, but refuses talking under oath to anyone. That's clearly another indication he's a criminal, and its all true what they're accusing him of. All law enforcement people in this country should be appalled at his behavior towards people testifying against criminals, and his lying and obstruction he now accuses others of. His documenting so many things is a never ending nightmare now for trump and others, and they are desperate now. So is the gop to stop it all from exposing their involvement too.

Cohen was on last week, and one of the first things he did was to admit to lying in 2017 to Congress and he apologized for it. I believe the committee asked him to go through the old transcripts and highlight every place where he lied, and return the document this week. I think that's what he's reeling in, not new documents but old transcripts.

Don't lose sight of how important it is to get these sworn testimonies in the congressional record. I don't think anyone should be cynical about the sight of the president's closest legal confidante, his fixer, wheeling in multiple bags of records to the Democratic-controlled hearings.

This isn't proforma, it's a process building to impeachment.

It's reported that there are 11 checks, 10 for 35k each and 1 for 70k. That adds up to 420k, far more than the 130k paid to Stormy Daniels. Even if you add in the payment to McDougal, the payments to Cohen are still more. Was the extra money meant for Cohen to keep him hushed, too?

checks were actually shown and then started adding up the amounts. Three 35k checks would've paid Cohen back, not 11, meaning Cohen got paid extra for something else.
