Have we become a nation of children?

I know it's just one poll and it was at least in part conducted by the WSJ, but seeing Trump's approval blared from the TV machine as " up 3% since last month now at 46%" makes my soul bleed. How in the hell can nearly half of those surveyed think that Trump is doing a good job?

Is it simply because he SAYS he's a great president and they are too damn lazy/stupid/ignorant/spineless to think otherwise?

Is their assessment of "how we're doin'" limited to "Do I have beer, cable TV and food for today?"

Do they expect anything more of him than to keep pissing off Democrats?

I wonder if 46% of Americans just really want to not have to think; would really rather just put their lives on cruise control, let someone else take the wheel and hope that everything goes well. Do they want a "daddy" to take care of all that "grown up stuff" so they can spend their time discriminating against anyone who is not a straight, male,
white evangelical?

Can these people even still call themselves " the party of personal responsibility" without giggling?

I don't even get push polls anymore.

I have noticed on a different site that the supporters think things are going swimmingly and they are all getting the largest tax refunds ever, and they don't care about diplomacy or education, or the enviroment.

I think they missed something along the way, or have the faux snooze channel chip embedded in their brains.

You can't have a horse race with only one horse
The networks (and their affiliates especially) NEED it

I know are highly developed.

Just remember the blue wave and how that changed things.

Most Americans don’t have a clue who is selling what in government. Not a clue.

The pollsters are lying. Period. It’s a horse race. It’s ratings.

need another iota of ignorance in my life. It doesn't help that 3 out of 4 of my neighbors who hear of this poll will take heart that their boy is "beating back the libtards".

I think I hear the Wild Turkey calling.

Remember that those neighbors are influenced by polls because they require no proof. Other than the polls how much do these neighbors know? How closely do they follow the news, and what news station do they watch?

Just keep remembering the blue wave. It literally took at least half the power away from the Republicans in Congress. They lost 50% of their power in one day. That blue wave isn’t going to stop now.

When your neighbors open their mouths you should train yourself to think the word ‘ignorant’ before any sound even come out.

8. He owns the Libs. That explains most of his support.

He makes the Libs angry, and for that, they're grateful. They've been conditioned to hate Liberals since birth.

Turn the TV off or change the channel.

It is blaring 24/7 Breathless Breaking Noise Infotainment to fill airtime between ads for drugs we never knew we needed.

But, unlike the stupid sticks, these people vote and support idiocy.
