Many also seem to think it could be a close race in 2020, and that trump will not necessarily lose.

[This surprises me. My sense is that there is a fair chance that the deluge of evidence against trump will compound and create crises. If a Member of Congress gets indicted, that could break the logjam in the 'con Senate - if they worry more about prison than being re-eleted. I would not rule out a trump indictment by State or Fed prosecutors].

[For me, an especially scary scenario is in the M. Cohen warning, that trump may not transition power peacefully].
