Trump called Adams work in Congress bullschiff, and gave Adam a new nickname: Little Shifty Schiff.
Clever, we know. Fifth graders everywhere must have been very impressed. (Actually, they know better.)
Heres the truth: Adam is not going to stop working to hold this president and his Administration accountable. No matter how many attacks come his way by Trump, his
congressional allies, and surrogates on Fox News.

(13,485 posts)That article was on DU a couple days ago. Some group anylized the first 300,000 words of presidents after entering office going back to Hoover. Trump was at the bottom at 4th grade. The highest was Herbert Hoover at 11th grade. I think most presidents have spoken to the public at a 7th to 9th grade level. But tRump's general talk is definitely down there. 1st sounds about right.

(16,927 posts)he always wants to be the first in the front of the room because his "sharing" is always the bestest, AND, he also wants to be the first in every line (and he always snitches when the other kids swing on the bathroom doors...........)

(51,608 posts)Each student got a number (alphabetical from class list) and that was the number order from day one. No cuts, no "I was first", etc. Classroom management is half the battle. I learned that as a sub.
The moron's teachers remember him and that is typical.. we always remember the little shitheads that are always mean and no punishment ever works on them. If I were his teacher I would've encouraged his parents to put him in another class or better yet, send him to a different school far away from the nice kids who were constantly harassed by him.

(51,608 posts)Since he is so riddled with mental health issues there were probably very few options that would have even had a semi-permanent effect on his improving his behavior. He is one messed up dude and what he has isn't curable, especially at this point in his life. A narcissistic, sadistic sociopath is a a dangerous combination of disorders for a POTUS to possess. He is just a plain and simple BAD SEED.

The worst part is what he may do when cornered. Like a wounded animal the damage could be great. Normally I am pretty calm, but this situation has me very nervous. I eep trying to tell myself we have ben through worse with the 20 year drunk and his lie of a war, but the ignorance of voters scares me.

(14,764 posts)msnbc had it running on a monitor in the background but no sound. They were talking about other topics, and every once in a while they would chck back and laugh at him for still talking.
That's a huge change from 2015, where they would not only televise his crap start to finish, they would stand by breathlessly waiting for him to start. It sucked the oxygen out of the system.
He has become irrelevant from a live news perspective. Sure they will cover anything he says after, but not live.

(81,304 posts)If nothing else, itd make management aware that some of their customers dont like it. I complained to my bank when they ran Pox Noise on their in-house monitors. I complained two or three times. Then one day I went in there and theyd changed it to CNBC. Then I went over to one of the managers to say I noticed the change and thanked them. I asked them what made them change it. The manager replied that we had some complaints.
Now I dont know whether the complaints theyd received were all from me or thered been others. I had gotten different tellers each time I complained. But it doesnt matter. Objective achieved!

(15,286 posts)Nicolle Wallace's producers put up a couple Trump tweets for her to read, then get her guests' reactions. She read the first, then said "I'm not reading anymore of this", then you hear paper being crumpled and tossed away. LOL! A few months ago, she said she would never show or quote Huckabee Sanders again (she hasn't) after all the lies she's spouted. Maybe she'll do the same thing with Trump's tweets now.

(12,586 posts)I think Rachel has a policy of not showing his tweets. I think that policy should be adopted by the news media. If he writes something significant, summarize it but don't quote it. Ignore all the childish names and any use of the word "collusion." If he gives a speech, show him MOS (German for "without sound" and summarize any significant information. Otherwise ignore his ass.
The worst week of his life is when John McCain died, and hours and days of coverage was dedicated to the man and his life. Seriously -- he was complaining to his staff that someone other than him was getting air time.
Don't ignore what he says -- he is the president (sic), after all -- just summarize it.

I also like how MSNBC doesnt bother giving Kellyanne exposure anymore, either. I find her nauseatic. Its a relief not to see her pushing the nonstop propaganda.

(3,426 posts)Now that it has become a well known fact that Trump was a lousy student and not at all smart , the time has come to expose his little game of making up stuff up around names. Back in the early 70's self teaching books came geared to improving memory. Memorizing names for example, the one where it slips your mind. It's a form of mental gymnastics and it all comes back to Trump's short comings, one of which is associating names to faces. Shifty Schiff is an easy way for Trump to place Schiff into a category somewhere in his brain ,you can call it a compartment or Trumps version of compartmentalization. Green eggs and Ham, the cat in the hat-, Dr. Susses'
Here's an example -
You see Trump has and had serious problems with the formalities of business meetings with bankers, backers on and so on. Language and knowing the names of those faces he had to face to do his scams.
Chic & Chong in a interview got it right recently in that Trump is really very funny. And even more funny ,he doesn't even know it.
You see Shifty Schiff, lying Ted -little Marco all of it, Trump is making fun of himself lol. He relied on those books to get him through it, as far back there as his starter mansion and befor that lol. Whats funny is those names he makes up, that is about as much as he got out of those books.
There were other improve yourself books out back in those days but my memory doesn't serve me well that far back theses days lol.
