If we had real journalists with a traditional sense of integrity, this Ted Cruz spew would never
have seen the light of day.
One thing Trump got right was when he tagged Cruz "lying Ted". According to the Texas Senator, we Democrats have gone "bat crap crazy" about Trump's wall.
“Now their position is, don’t secure the border at all, let everybody in and have amnesty,” he added. “Here’s their reasoning: Trump wants a wall, we hate Trump, therefore no wall, that’s it.” So sayeth Ted. Any reporter worth their salt would have noticed that the above quote smells really really bad. And, a couple of questions to Cruz would have quickly revealed why: he pulled it, fully formed, out of his ass. There is not one word of truth in it. No support or corroboration was offered because none exists.
Cruz voters, though, don't expect facts or truth from him. They expect him to fling out red meat to them and to fling poo at "the snowflakes". He does both consistently and so they happily re-elect him.
That distant scraping sound is all the knuckles dragging in Texas.
