My hair grows far too quickly to make using a permanent tint financially feasible. And those "semi-permanent" (?????) are a waste of money. So, when I feel like I need to brighten myself up, I shampoo and then squeeze on a little Fanci-ful. It really blends in, beautifully with the non-white hairs left on my head.

at first. The blow dried hair gets dry and porous and the blond dye will look too dark until he washes it a few times.

When you see it that weird mix of white new growth + yellow ends, it's because he's gone too long between applications. Whatever he's using fades from dark blonde to yellow and the line of demarcation is the white part.
