It seemed inconceivable to me then, and I'm not about to be shocked like that again. Hope is not a strategy.

asked me if Trump could possibly win. “Oh GOD no!” I said. “Not a chance.”

So, yeah. I don’t take anything for granted anymore.

yes, but a minority. 25-35% would be in the really like him category.
IMHO, the "win" was the outcome only because of cheating. Our side got a really big majority of the popular votes.
Sure, they will try to steal the action again, seems the only way that party can elect a lot of. their candidates.
I take great hope with our.victories in the mid-terms, and am really enthusiastic about a lot of our representatives.

worse - if too many don't vote because Trump can't win even if he doesn't all the down ballot Democrats lose. I know Donald Trump will lose even if he's not in jail by then but I am voting for whichever of the the solidly gifted candidates we chose to field and I am voting to give that POTUS (whoever Democrat it may be) the best Senate and Congress, state legislature, city council, mayor and dogcatcher I can.

To do that we need to get out the vote like Trump or Pence is a shoo in if we don't vote. Cuz its happened before.

For the reasons you've cited, as well as his conduct for the past two years. Add in the Mueller factor, and he's toast.

I still don't think he'll even be on the ticket.

I feel like people who live in rural areas and red states have a more realistic understanding of how this crazy shit is possible unfortunately.
