Pssst ... GOP

I just wanted to advise you of a few things that somehow you don’t seem to have noticed.

So here’s what the rest of the country – and the world – have noticed, and are reminded of on a daily basis.

Your “pResident” is complete and utter failure – not just as a political figure, but as a businessman and a decent human being. His “self-made billionaire” boasts have now been proven false. Not only did he rely on his daddy’s money, he also relied on questionable tax filings, and cheating suppliers and labourers out of their money in order to enrich himself.

Your “pResident” is a liar – about everything. Everyone knows it – so why you keep ignoring the obvious is rather mind-boggling. Maybe it’s time to own up to that fact, and stop sending your spokes-whores out to the news networks to tell people the “pResident” didn’t say what he just said, and didn’t do what he just did.

Your “pResident” is stupid – and it shows. He demonstrates it every day. I thought you would have at least noticed that, because he proves it every time he opens his mouth.

Your “pResident” is lazy beyond belief. He spends his time watching TV and tweeting bullshit between golf games - when he's not busy avoiding things like honouring our war-dead because it's raining and his hair-do won't survive.

Your “pResident” is up to his eyeballs in corruption. He is under investigation for obstructing justice, and colluding with our enemies. His “best people” have been indicted and are awaiting prison sentences.

Your “pResident” has put corrupt, inept cronies in positions of power. Have you really never noticed that Ivanka and Jared Kushner know as much about foreign policy as your average third grader? Have you never even considered what damage is being done to our country by these two inane idiots, along with the other idiots your “pResident” has appointed to his Cabinet and other positions of influence?

Your “pResident” is going down. And yet again, that’s something everyone seems to know except you. Or maybe you do know it, and you’re stupid enough to think that somehow Mueller – and everything his investigative team have uncovered thus far – will just magically go away.

Now is the time for all good men (if there are such men/women still in the Republican party) to tell your “pResident” that no matter how much covfefe he tweets, no matter how many times he says “NO COLLUSION!” in all caps, no matter how many times he announces things like 4th of July celebrations as though he'd just invented the holiday, the only thing he's accomplishing is proving that he is indeed a clueless idiot?

Isn’t it time for you to sit The Dotard down and explain to him that the whole world is watching, and the undeniable evidence against him is mounting on an hourly basis? Isn’t it time to apprise him of the fact that it’s far too late to be hoping that a non-existent “national emergency” will stop the wheels of justice from grinding away towards their inevitable end? Isn’t it time to take him aside and tell him that his make-believe “relationships” with Putin, Kim Jong-Un, and MBS only go to prove his guilt, rather than exonerate him? Isn’t it time you grew a spine and/or a pair of balls?

As a Democrat, I’m more than happy to see you all rallying around a traitor. It will certainly give my party the edge in 2020 – because the vast majority of voters recognize treason when they see it.

I am just immensely curious as to how the obvious seems to have escaped your attention, hour after hour, day after day – for over two god-damned years.

that Putin, Kim Jong-Un, and MBS appear to be his best and only real allies on the International stage should alone set off

But there's no point in defending the obviously indefensible - or refusing to get into the lifeboats before the Trumptanic goes down - unless there are guilty parties within the GOP who are hoping-against-hope that evidence of their willing involvement escapes detection as the ship sinks.

... that the "religious right" who were persuaded that a lyin' pussy-grabber was "chosen by god to lead" can just as easily be persuaded to denounce him when politically expedient to do so.

What they do see is the $$$$ they are raking in from Oligarchs around the world which is all that is keeping them in office. They don't give a damn about their Oath of Office or their constituents, they only care about the $$$$ and to keep those $$$$ rolling in they will do whatever they are told to do by their paymasters.

The Russiapublicans assume that any losses due to another blue wave will be temporary; they and their masters will adjust the cheats until power is regained. They have significant ownership of the judiciary branch and will continue working toward more ownership of state governments.

except: the assumption is that there might be some logical reasoning, morality, and a bit of sanity hiding somewhere among the Republicans. I'm thinking those qualities are extinct in this day and age. We all keep hoping that reason, sanity and common sense might prevail when it doesn't seem to even exist anymore.

They elected him anyway, because:

1. They hated Hillary more than we hated Trump.

2. After being embarrassed by a second Bush- (Bush Jr.,) they knew they dare not let a second Clinton into office to show the whole world that Bush II was bad, but Clinton II would be proof that Dems were better.

Yes, they knew what they were going to get, and they voted for that bastard anyway.

It is still yet to be seen what 2020 is going to bring. I’m going to work my tail off for whoever is the Dem nominee, but I’m going to be ready to pack my bags and go to Europe if there is a Trump 2nd term.

trump is NOT an anomaly. trump is representative of everything the republican party has stood for for decades. every top republican agrees with the moron, trump is just has no filter. top republicans like pence and mcconnell knew they did not hold a "silentmajority" that the majority of Americans would not agree with their far right fascist beliefs. trump is so arrogant and narcissistic, he believes most Americans agree with him. but make no mistake, the leadership of the republican party agrees with trump, they are not against him.
and another thing, please stop referring to the republican party as the GOP. they are far long gone from being the grand old party of such actual patriots as Lincoln, T Roosevelt and Eisenhower. those are long gone.
